About Us

AlpacaSalesList.Com (ASL) is incorporated under Burnt Mountain Llamas, Inc., along with LlamaSalesList.Com. The owner is Jim White, but Brian Edwards is a partner on all auction-related projects and many other projects in the works. Jim's interest in camelids, internet technology, and auctions is what birthed the auction site available today.

After selling several hundred thousand dollars worth of llamas since 2004, Jim and Brian decided it was time to branch out into broader areas. ASL joined AOBA in 2006 and again in 2008.

Our goals are simple: 1) to offer a easy unique way to buy and sell alpacas 2) to offer services not currently found 3) to continually improve our auction formats.

The importance of online livestock auctions is often underestimated. Some choose to ignore it or not support it. However, in our ever changing world, it is hard to ignore or deny that internet technology is the way of the future, even now. As the costs of attending sales continues to skyrocket, alternative methods of selling alpacas will be needed. Online auctions is one such way. We have proven in the llama world that great quality llamas will sell, even unseen, to buyers willing to pay the animal's worth for a decent llama. The same will hold true with alpacas.
