With the cost of gas constantly rising, coupled with high entry fees of in-person auctions, online auctions provide both less risk of loss and prentially more profit. HOW IT WORKS:

The Buyer's perspective: Our auctions are centered around the "search" capability so that bidders can pull up specific characteristics they are seeker from a pool of great alpacas for sale. Our great selection will be why bidders constantly return again and again to our site to find their next great alpaca. It is time efficient for the buyer to quickly find several alpaca prospects, narrow the search, bid, and complete the transaction. This saves time in searching and allows precious time to be spent in more valuable ways.

The Seller's Perspective: The online auction sale format allows flexibility, time-saving, and a cost effective way to sell alpacas for sellers. Sellers pay either as a member for one year of selling or as a non-member on a per consignment basis. In addition to the membership or consignment fees, there is a 10% commission charge on each sold alpaca.

The Setup of AlpacaSalesList.Com: There are basically two areas where sales occur. One area is the auction site that runs auctions contstantly around the clock. The second area is the non-auction page of alpacas currently for sale. Detailed information on an alpaca is displayed when its thumbnail is clicked on. ASL members enjoy unlimited sales listings, while non-members can pay per listing.
